Candida: CAUSES AND EFFECTS by sectrix.articles
CAUSE Of Candida INFECTION: For proper functioning of the body, there needs to be a balance among all its components. Both the harmful components and the useful ingredients need to be retained in right proportions to ensure healthy life standards. Following this rule, the human body houses both bad and good bacteria within its digestive tract. When illness dawns, it is the work of the harmful microorganisms residing inside the body.
When one intakes medicine in the form of antibiotics, these destructive bacteria are killed. However, an overdose of steroids or birth control pills or antibiotics may sometimes cause the good bacteria to meet their end. It is then that the immune system suffers a setback and results in overgrowth of the Candida yeast which is otherwise present naturally in minimal quantities inside the tract of the digestive system. This condition is the Candidiasis. Other than this, the growth of this yeast may also be aggravated by improper nourishment, mental or physical disturbance and anxiety.
RISK: Certain risk factors have been associated with the cause of this disease and these are avoided during Candida Treatment. For one, it is risky to wear a wet swimming costume for a long time. Using of lubricants such as glycerin during mating, treatment of infertility and improper diet has been considered as some other risk factors.
Symptoms Of Candida: The yeast in question is destructive and weakens the immune system considerably, thus resulting in a variety of symptomatic manifestations. The body may experience pain in the abdomen, extreme tiredness, infections in the skin and other such symptoms. Sometimes this rapidly changing yeast may morph into its fungal state and spread through the body like wildfire. The rhizoid produced by this fungus is shaped like barbed hooks with the help of which the fungi cut into membranes and soft tissues, causing excruciating pain. If left untreated, the Leaky Gut Syndrome develops in the intestine.
The body develops a craving for sweet dishes and alcohol, as the fungus- turned- yeast thrives on these food particles. Infections in the bladder, vagina (in women), sinus, teeth and respiratory system are the most common manifestations. There may also be a certain amount of bloating up, development of allergies, increased sensitivity towards chemicals and perfumes, hormonal imbalance and arthritis. A person suffering from the Candida overgrowth may be susceptible to depression and memory loss.
Symptoms may be superficial like the vaginitis and oral thrush. It may also remain without any visible symptom in early stages and develop later into diseases, which threaten to shorten one
