Candida.. real or not real? please help im worried!?

hello everyone! i have had problems with , constant tiredness, sugar craving and bingeing, headaches and a spaced out/unreal/dreamy/drowsy feeling that is just awful!! like being in a cloud.. this is for about 5 years now? anyway i have been diagnosed by 2 health practitioners (alternative health clinics) as having a candida overgrowth but my dr has not heard of it at all!! the clinic i went to this time say they have a special candida course.. with anti fungals, probiotics, prebiotics, detox stuff etc and they have good results from it but it is costly and i am worried it is all a con but i do feel so poorly!! any advice please thankyou
p.s. my dr cant help me he is rubbish and just brushes these syptoms off ! hehe thanks x

The thing about these alternative health clinics is that they will tell you anything you need to hear to get you to come back and buy more of their product.
I once had an MD suggest that perhaps I had an over growth of yeast in my intestine but my symptoms were irritable bowel, abdominal pain, diarrhea.
Tread carefully with these alternative health clinics, I would try to get a second opinion with a real doc since your symptoms don’t sound normal. Have you tried antidepressants? Sometimes they help.
