Candida Yeast Diet – Why It Might Save Your Life!
Yeast Infections are mostly found in warm, moist areas of the body. Typically the infection presents itself as a Vaginal Infection, thrush (mouth), rash or nail bed infection. Some of the most common areas affected are underneath the arms, around the mouth, diaper area (babies), underneath the breast and on the lower part of the abdomen. Candida can also thrive in skin folds and nail beds. Most people go on medication and use a Candida Yeast Diet in order to rid their body of the excess yeast and kill the infection.
Candida infection can occur in a number of ways. Antibiotic and steroid use is one way. Rashes when pregnant, during menstruation or due to the use of birth control is another common one. People with weak immune systems often fall prey to candidiasis as do women after menopause.

- Vaginitis which is a condition in which there is a yellowish or white odorless discharge that causes a burning sensation, pain and itchiness

mental function changes and even death! When treating yeast infections some of the things used include anti-fungal drugs, topical applications, azole medications, and suppositories.
Candida generally does well when there is an acidic pH balance which stops the body’s ability to absorb and break down minerals and vitamins. This makes it hard for certain foods to be easily digestible therefore a proper diet plan is essential.

- Fermented Food
- Cake
- Moldy foods (ex. cheese)
- Pastry
- Legumes
- Fruit
- Alcohol
- Pasta
- Condiments
- Pickles
- Breaded meats
- Smoked meats
- Mushrooms

- Beans
- Beef (in moderation)
- Eggs
- Cabbage
- Cauliflower
- Radish
- Celery
- Fish
- Chicken
- Berries
- Soy
- Grapefruit
- Pineapple
- Peas
- Unsweetened and no yeast baked products
- Broths
The motivation behind following a special diet with so many food restrictions is because those foods help to feed the yeast which in turn allows them to grow and continue to cause problems. In order to combat the yeast we need to starve and eventually kill off the candida in our system that’s causing the infection. It is also vital to compliment this yeast free diet with multivitamins. One should also limit the amount of antibiotics they take during the course of this diet as they can kill off beneficial bacteria that help to keep candida overgrowth in check.
